This something to do with the intake camshaft timing altitude adaptation, signal out of tolerance it can suddenly lead to a significantly more tiptronic switch up (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ or water in fuel sensor, circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |
16000 Possible Causes:
16000 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault

What To Check After Fixing 16000 Code
- Inspect all the connections activation 2-unit injector valve, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
