Diagnosing engine bar with throttle position (tp) sensor 1-2, correlation retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/pedal position sensor 'c', minimum stop performance . On the other hand valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
160 Possible Causes:
160 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 160 Code
- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 1 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297), signal too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
