Staring in engine ignition coil 'f' primary control, short to plus retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data-bus powertrain, missing message from engine controller (ecu) you can see the activation, intake manifold runner bank 2 control, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
15998 Possible Causes:
15998 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15998 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
