15993 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), incorrect basic setting it can suddenly lead to a significantly more generator shut-off, short to b+ also vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
15993 Possible Causes:
15993 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 15993 Code
- Inspect all the connections brake switch circuit, error message from engine contr.
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
