This something to do with the intake camshaft timing o2 sensor signals swapped, bank 1 sensor 3 - /bank 2 sensor 3 It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit high or accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high is the final reason of the code. |

15986 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 15986 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor bank 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
