15980 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit range / performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so fuel injection valve 4 (n369), short to ground and wait then pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
15980 Possible Causes:
15980 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 15980 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
