Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 individual cylinder control, sensor dynamic too low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 2 sensor 1 and wait then nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
15978 Possible Causes:
15978 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 15978 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
