15974 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 1 sensor 1 causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit range / performance and exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, voltage too low is the final reason of the code. |
15974 Possible Causes:
15974 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 15974 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
