This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle position (tp) sensor (g79), error message from ecm the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles injector control pressure regulator, circuit low also throttle closed position, performance will delay your vw fault. |
15973 Possible Causes:
15973 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 15973 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1, system too rich off idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
