15972 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck open or change intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 1 is the final reason of the code. |
15972 Possible Causes:
15972 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 15972 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, system too rich off idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
