This something to do with the intake camshaft timing coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to b+ run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed relays for large amount of heat (j360), short-circuit after pluses and coolant circulation pump relay (j151), open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
15971 Possible Causes:
15971 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 15971 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'e' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
