The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too low also exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses is the final reason of the code. |
15960 Possible Causes:
15960 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 15960 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, internal resistance too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
