Staring in engine ignition coil cylinder 15, open circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), short to b+ also ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
15949 Possible Causes:
15949 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15949 Code
- Inspect all the connections generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
