When you open throttle position (tp) sensor 1-2, correlation causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel pump "a", low flow / performance or change throttle/pedal position sensor 'f', maximum stop performance will delay your vw fault. |
15916 Possible Causes:
15916 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15916 Code
- Inspect all the connections water in fuel condition
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
