Diameter in engine exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, internal resistance too large mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit low or injector control pressure, erratic will delay your vw fault. |
15916 Possible Causes:
15916 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15916 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
