Staring in engine hydraulic actuator valve (n331), electrical malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake motor for intake manifold flap (v157), no signal and wait then cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance is the final reason of the code. |
15901 Possible Causes:
15901 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15901 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, default not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
