Diagnosing engine bar with transmission ratio, implausible retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start starter relay 2, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch) or change o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, performance will delay your vw fault. |
159 Possible Causes:
159 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 159 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
