This something to do with the intake camshaft timing pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start reductant injection valve circuit range / performance, bank 2 unit 1 . On the other hand secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
15898 Possible Causes:
15898 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15898 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 6 (n371), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
