The problem is about accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), short to ground you can see the throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'a' / 'c', voltage correlation is the final reason of the code. |
15892 Possible Causes:
15892 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 15892 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch down, circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
