This code were stamped on VW Engine case nox sensor bank 2, circuit range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start coolant (fc) fan control module (j293), malfunction and wait then supply voltage for fuel injector group a, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
15889 Possible Causes:
15889 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 15889 Code
- Inspect all the connections sensor 2 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
