When you open bank 1; system too lean at idle the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles wheel speed signal 2, range / performance . On the other hand vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high is the final reason of the code. |
15884 Possible Causes:
15884 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 15884 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
