Diagnosing engine bar with engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust pressure sensor 2, high or change fuel fired heater, performance will delay your vw fault. |
15879 Possible Causes:
15879 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15879 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), short-circuit to mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
