This something to do with the intake camshaft timing engine- / transmission control modules, versions do not match It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too low and exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
15878 Possible Causes:
15878 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15878 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, electrical error in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
