The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle actuator control system, sudden high air flow detected retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit open circuit also please check dtc memory of steering wheel electronics is the final reason of the code. |
15866 Possible Causes:
15866 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 15866 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control module, internal circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
