This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground . So for next throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'a' / 'c', voltage correlation will delay your vw fault. |

- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 15866 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of instrument cluster
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
