15866 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel pump, short circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground also reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
15866 Possible Causes:
15866 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 15866 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
