15848 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about tiptronic switch up, circuit short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 1, compensation wire pump current, open circuit and fuel mode indicator lamp control, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
15848 Possible Causes:
15848 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 15848 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
