15846 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine internal control module: eeprom error causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system throttle actuator control motor, control circuit you can see the intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
15846 Possible Causes:
15846 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 15846 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed signal, error message from instrument cluster
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
