The problem is about injector cylinder 16 (n393), open circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit you can see the exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes before kat exchanges will delay your vw fault. |
15844 Possible Causes:
15844 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15844 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
