Diagnosing engine bar with valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition coil cylinder 14, high circuit or catalyst system exhaust bank 4, effectiveness too low will delay your vw fault. |
15840 Possible Causes:
15840 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 15840 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, internal resistance too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
