When you open hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), upper limit exceeded mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 3, probe 2 signal too slowly you can see the fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
15840 Possible Causes:
15840 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 15840 Code
- Inspect all the connections pre-catalyst exhaust bank 3 effect too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
