15835 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing bank 1; system too lean at idle retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data bus powertrain, missing message from control module level control and glow plug / heater relay, circuit short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
15835 Possible Causes:
15835 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15835 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump, electronics faulty
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
