The problem is about glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, open or short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles reductant injection valve circuit range / performance, bank 2 unit 1 and automatic glow time control relay 2, electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
15829 Possible Causes:
15829 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 15829 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
