15798 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine wheel speed signal 2, range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit / open . On the other hand intake manifold runner control, circuit low bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
15798 Possible Causes:
15798 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 15798 Code
- Inspect all the connections clutch torque, adaptation at limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
