When you open cylinder 9 above knock threshold mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel pump "b", low flow / performance and wait then data-bus powertrain, implausible message from engine controller is the final reason of the code. |
15797 Possible Causes:
15797 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15797 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'b' / 'c', voltage correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
