When you open valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start egr system, regulation range not reached and wait then exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
15797 Possible Causes:
15797 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 15797 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit interruption
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
