15796 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition coil 'i' primary control, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more reservoir for additive for particle filter, empty or change intake manifold runner control, default not reached will delay your vw fault.

15796 Possible Causes:

15796 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
  • Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
  • Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
  • Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
  • Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
  • Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

What To Check After Fixing 15796 Code

  • Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
