15792 Description And Summary :

When you open relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), under voltage during basic adjustment also secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code.

15792 Possible Causes:

15792 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
  • Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
  • Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
  • O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
  • Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
  • Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 15792 Code

  • Inspect all the connections engine oil temperature sensor (g8), circuit range / performance
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
