Staring in engine exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor activation, intake manifold runner bank 1 control, range / performance or injector cylinder 13 (n390), circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
15746 Possible Causes:
15746 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 15746 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
