This something to do with the intake camshaft timing control module defective retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start cylinder 5 above knock threshold . So for next temperature sensors for drive cycle radiator exhaust (g382), signal too small is the final reason of the code. |
15736 Possible Causes:
15736 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15736 Code
- Inspect all the connections cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
