This something to do with the intake camshaft timing clutch torque, adaptation at limit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit low you can see the heater regulation, implausible signal is the final reason of the code. |
15701 Possible Causes:
15701 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 15701 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
