This something to do with the intake camshaft timing hydraulic pressure sensor 2 adaptation at limit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 4 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded also secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
157 Possible Causes:
157 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 157 Code
- Inspect all the connections ng high pressure valve (n372), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
