157 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust bank 3, probe 1 tension too largely run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust bank 1 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached or engine torque reduction, open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
157 Possible Causes:
157 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 157 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
