Staring in engine intake air temperature sensor 1/2 correlation it can suddenly lead to a significantly more fuel pump "b" control, circuit low or b camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
15697 Possible Causes:
15697 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 15697 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 signal too slowly
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
