This code were stamped on VW Engine case relays for small amount of heat (j359), short-circuit after pluses mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, open circuit . On the other hand please check dtc memory of steering angle sensor is the final reason of the code. |
15689 Possible Causes:
15689 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 15689 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
