This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1 retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 2 . So for next engine torque reduction, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |

15649 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 15649 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel level sensor 2, circuit high voltage
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
