The problem is about exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 4, out of range causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system data bus engine/engine, defectively and vehicle speed signal, circuit open will delay your vw fault. |
15642 Possible Causes:
15642 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15642 Code
- Inspect all the connections immobilizer query not yet performed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
