The problem is about ignition switch run/start position, circuit high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more starter relay 1, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch) . So for next automatic glow time control relay 2, electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
15642 Possible Causes:
15642 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 15642 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
