15639 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine hydraulic pump for overdrive / low range (v190), electrical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ecm/pcm power input, signal low or coolant fan 2 (v177), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
15639 Possible Causes:
15639 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 15639 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
