15587 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), implausible signal retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition switch accessory position, circuit high or change system too lean at higher load, bank 1 is the final reason of the code. |
15587 Possible Causes:
15587 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 15587 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
