The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault mil control circuit, open / short to b+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so powertrain data bus, missing message from steering wheel electronics or change ignition coil 'l' primary control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
15557 Possible Causes:
15557 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 15557 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission control unit (j217), programming error
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
