When you open pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to b+ also data bus powertrain, missing messages is the final reason of the code. |
15557 Possible Causes:
15557 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 15557 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 16, low circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
