Diagnosing engine bar with glow plug / heater relay, circuit short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ecm/pcm power input, signal intermittent . On the other hand pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
15540 Possible Causes:
15540 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 15540 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
