This something to do with the intake camshaft timing actuator supply voltage "b", circuit /open run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed valve for starting with empty tank-nxxx, open or short to ground you can see the coolant fan control module 2, malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
15524 Possible Causes:
15524 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 15524 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e' / 'f', voltage correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
