This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, electrical malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor control module for coolant fan 3 fan activation, short circuit and control module defective will delay your vw fault. |
15521 Possible Causes:
15521 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15521 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition switch accessory position, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
