The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault tiptronic switch (f189), implausible signal causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system or data bus powertrain, missing message from a/c controller will delay your vw fault. |
15509 Possible Causes:
15509 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 15509 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
