15495 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start mil request signal active (check for tcm errors too!) . So for next hydraulic actuator valve (n331), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
15495 Possible Causes:
15495 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 15495 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator fan (v7), difficulty of movement / blocked
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
