This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake injector control pressure sensor, circuit high and bank 1, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g300) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation is the final reason of the code. |
15494 Possible Causes:
15494 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 15494 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
